Homeopathy

Homeopathy was developed by the German physician and chemist Dr Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843) and has been used around the world for over 250 years.

Homeopathy  is widely used in England, Europe and India.

It has been acknowledged by the World Health Organisation as a valid form of health care.

Homeopathic treatment enhances the body's own healing ability to respond to infection and disease, so that a more balanced state of health is achieved.

Specially prepared herbal, mineral and animal substances are used to treat a wide range of illnesses, both acute and chronic.

Homeopathy can be of benefit for all ages at any stage, including pregnant women, mothers, fathers, babies, young children, teenagers, and the elderly.

Homeopathy can treat the symptoms of a wide range of conditions, for example:

  • Acute complaints coughs, colds, earache, food poisoning, hangover, travel sickness.
  • Chronic complaints skin conditions, hormone imbalances, depression, headaches, behavioural problems, digestive disturbances, asthma, arthritis.
  • First aid situations bites, stings, hives, injuries, trauma, shock.
  • Vague symptoms where there are no identifiable causes of disease, but the person feels far from well.

Homeopathy aims to treat the whole person, taking into account personality, lifestyle and hereditary factors, as well as the history of the disease.

Since all patients are unique, Homeopathic medicines are prescribed to treat patients as individuals.

For example, headaches in different patients would each be treated with different medicines, according to the patient's individual symptoms.

Christine runs regular workshops at Elemental Health and on-line via Zoom to teach clients how to use homeopathic medicines for themselves to treat acute complaints and injuries.
