Functional Testing

Bio Impedence Analysis

Bio Impedence Analysis (BIA)  is a test that has been used for monitoring patients in a hospital setting since the 1980's. It's a simple test which involves a low voltage current being passed through your body via leads connected to your hands and feet.

This provides information into aspects of your health, such as how much fat you have in your body and can help monitor your cellular health, in particular your fluid distribution.

Who would benefit from the BIA? People who would like to:

  • Manage their weight more effectively
  • Increase muscle tone and fitness
  • Improve energy levels
  • Support healthily ageing
  • Support the nutrition and health of their body.

Vitamin and mineral scan

This in-house assessment provides a precise evaluation of the bioavailability of vitamins, minerals and other trace elements in your tissue including levels of iron, calcium, zinc, magnesium, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, B Vitamins and more.

The measurement is made by scanning the surface of the hand. The advantage of epidermis analysis, as opposed to a secretion one, is that it gives a more stable picture.

Indeed, the test of the urine can show what that the body excretes.

The hair provides information about what happened in the body a few weeks or months ago. The blood shows what circulates.

This scan us to observe what is in the tissue and therefore to assess intra-tissular bio-availability.

You get your test results in "real time" for an affordable price, with the possibility of immediate interpretation.

The evolution of results can be monitored over time.

The scan is pain-free and suitable for both adults and children.

Bio-compatibility Food Testing

The Bio-compatibility Food Testing is a simple, non-invasive test that requires a small sample of your hair to identify the impact that a wide range of foods and house-hold products have on your health.

This test identifies which foods, including specific brands of food and household items, are right for you and which foods and products you should avoid, all clearly set out for you to follow.

The test also provides your practitioner with valuable information to help tailor your dietary advice and nutrition goals.

When used in conjunction with naturopathic protocols we achieve great success with this test in addressing:

  • Digestive issues IBS, constipation, reflux, leaky gut, dysbiosis and IDB
  • Skin problems psoriasis, eczema and acne
  • Arthritis, pain and inflammation
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Chronic hay fever and sinusitis
  • Behavioural Issues
  • Fatigue
  • Weight loss

What does the hair analysis test for?

The standard test includes an extensive list of 600 items, covering all food groups including meat, grains, bread, flours, fruit, vegetable, herbs spices, and bathroom, laundry and kitchen products.
